Famous for his role in Whose Line is it Anyway? Drew Hornsby is another celebrity who served in the military before his walk to stardom. The Drew Carey Show star was a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve for a period of 6 years from the year 1981. During his time of service, Drew realized that he had other talents and that he could serve his country in the entertainment scene as well. it is then that he ventured into the laugh industry. His impeccable sense of humor immediately saw him achieve success in the industry. While still serving in the Marines, Drew started performing stand-up comedy with fellow military men as his audience. Seeing his success with audiences, Drew focused on bringing smiles onto other military people’s faces by travelling to Iraq and entertaining troops in United States military bases. He grew popular as an entertainer and earned the favor of most troops.
